Gingerbread House

One thing I've had a hard time learning over the past three and a half years is that it's okay to not have every little project turn out perfect. Yes, I'm type A. Yes, I'm a perfectionist. Yes, I'm starting to find it a HUGE fault when having children cause as any parent knows....it's not going to look like the perfect picture on the front of the box. I do hope my children grow up learning that it's okay to make mistakes, whether big or small! I hope they know that forgiveness is always just a request away from their parents, and most importantly, from their Savior.
We had a GREAT time making this house: giggling at one another, getting sticky and messy, eating candies, and most importantly.....doing a fun project together as a family. I think it looks like a masterpiece!
